We source our shirts through a company that collects and sorts post-consumer plastic bottles, stripping them of all labels and caps. Next, they salvage cotton from discarded industry scraps, which are also sorted by color and blended with polyester. The reclaimed fiber is then spun into yarn and knit into fabric, which is ultimately cut and sewn into a garment. With their proprietary process, they’re able to make fibers that are “first quality,” which makes them look and feel great.

At Nature's Highway, we love supporting local businesses and providing jobs at the local level. Rooted in the textile rich heritage of North Carolina, our partner aims to be a driver in supporting local jobs, education, and communities. Greatly reducing carbon emissions, these Made-in-the-Carolinas line sources everything from within a 150 mile radius of their headquarters in Charlotte.
